Gift ideas and shopping decisions

Our guides and AI-assisted finder provide suggestions. They can contain mistakes, and a recommendation does not guarantee that a product suits a particular recipient. Check the retailer’s current description, price, availability, compatibility and age or safety guidance before buying. Estimated idea budgets are not live product prices.

Retailers, affiliate links and sponsors

Purchases take place with the retailer, which handles payment, delivery, returns and its own purchase terms. Gift Compass does not sell or ship the products linked in its gift recommendations. Some links earn us a commission, and paid placements are labeled. See our affiliate disclosure.

Accounts and shared gift lists

Keep access to your sign-in account secure. Share only information you are entitled to share, and avoid including sensitive personal information about recipients in gift descriptions or notes. People with a shared-list link may be able to view the information you chose to publish. Review the list before sharing it.

Our data and privacy page explains storage, analytics, email choices and how to request deletion. Newsletter subscriptions can be canceled using the unsubscribe link in the email.

Acceptable use

Use Gift Compass lawfully. Do not attempt to access another person’s private data, bypass access controls or rate limits, disrupt the service, submit malicious code, impersonate someone, or share content that infringes another person’s rights. Access may be restricted to address misuse.

Availability and updates

Features and third-party services can change or be temporarily unavailable. Keep a separate copy of information you need to retain. We may update these terms as the service changes and will update the date on this page. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
