How to use your gifting calendar

Your gifting calendar brings personal shopping reminders and upcoming gift-giving occasions into one timeline. Sign in free to see it — it pulls from the occasion dates you set on saved lists and from holidays worth planning ahead for.

What shows up

  • Personal reminders. When you save a gift to a list and set an occasion date — or add one later on Your saved picks — that date appears on your calendar under the list name. If you've added recipient details, the relationship badge shows too.
  • Gift-giving occasions. Upcoming holidays and seasonal moments (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, and similar) appear as planning prompts. Each links to a relevant gift guide so you can scout ideas quickly.

Step by step

  1. Sign in and open Calendar. The calendar is in the main navigation once you're signed in. Go to /calendar to see what's coming up, sorted by how soon each date is.

  2. Add a personal reminder from saved picks. On Your saved picks, open a list and set or change an occasion date. You can also add a date when you first save a gift. The date must be at least two days away so we can email you in time. That list then appears on your calendar.

  3. Jump back to a list. Personal entries link straight to your saved picks so you can review ideas, share the list, or scout more gifts for that person.

  4. Browse a holiday guide. For generic occasions, tap “Browse guide” to open curated ideas for that holiday.

  5. Turn on email reminders for a holiday. Tap “Remind me” on any gift-giving occasion to get an email before the date. Tap “Turn off reminder” when you no longer want nudges for that holiday. Personal list reminders use the date you set on the list itself — they don't use this toggle.

  6. Hide holidays that aren't for you. Tap “Hide” to remove a generic occasion from your timeline. Hidden holidays move to a section at the bottom of the page. Tap “Show on calendar” anytime to bring one back.

Things worth knowing

  • Sign-in required. The calendar is personal — only you see your reminders, hidden holidays, and reminder preferences.
  • Two kinds of reminders. List occasion dates remind you about a specific person you're shopping for. Holiday reminders are optional emails about generic gift-giving dates on the calendar.
  • Empty calendar? Set a date on a saved list or restore a hidden holiday from the bottom of the calendar page. You can also scout ideas first and add dates as you go.
  • Home dashboard. When you're signed in, the home page “Coming up” section highlights your next occasion and links here for the full timeline.
