Run a sealed Secret Santa: add names and emails, draw fairly with optional exclusions, and email everyone a private assignment. Hosts track opens and buys — never who has whom. Then shoppers jump into the gift finder or browse Secret Santa gift ideas.

Same sealed draw and private emailed assignments — these just start with different budget defaults and setup advice for the group you're actually running this for.
Office-safe budget defaults and etiquette for coworker exchanges.
Exclude couples, span generations, and agree on one shared budget.
Built-in lead time for shipping and remote/hybrid teams.
Low, inclusive budgets for a student or classroom exchange.
Running an open swap instead of assigned pairs? Try the White Elephant / Yankee Swap generator.
Agree on a budget everyone's comfortable with, set a date for the exchange, and keep the matches secret until then. Add exclusion pairs for anyone who shouldn't draw each other (couples, direct reports), and treat the reveal as a one-time surprise — this tool never shows the host the full pairing list, so there's no risk of an accidental spoiler.
Everyone in the group is randomly matched with one other person to buy a gift for, and nobody knows who has them until the exchange. This tool draws the matches on the server, so not even the host can see the pairings — only each participant sees their own assignment.
Somewhere between $15 and $50 covers most groups, depending on the setting — offices tend to stay lower ($15–$25), families and friend groups often go $30–$50. Agree on one number up front so nobody over- or under-spends relative to everyone else.
Yes. Create a sealed draw, email private assignments, and track progress with no account required.
No. Matches stay sealed on the server. Hosts only see whether each person opened their link, set a buy reminder, or marked the gift bought — never the receiver names.
You add each person's name and email. After the draw, Gift Compass emails everyone a private link that reveals only their assignment. They can scout gifts, set a buy reminder, and mark when they've bought.
We store participant emails only to send assignment and buy-reminder messages for this draw (about 120 days). That is transactional email for the exchange — not a newsletter signup. Hosts can also email themselves the private dashboard link so they don't lose access — still no account required.
Yes. Toggle exclusion pairs before you create the draw so those people won't be matched to each other.
After the draw, scout cap-friendly ideas in the finder or skim exchange guides for safe picks.
